Weekend course child $ 190.00
One day / one night at the weekend child $105.00 (not available during School Holidays)
One day / one night at the weekend adult $155.00 (not available during School Holidays)
Weekend course adult $250.00 (over 18 years) dorm room.
5 day course $ 495.00 child
5 day adult $625.00 (dorm room during school holidays)
Friday / Sunday shuttle $30 return.
NOTE: These prices are valid for NZ school children staying on the set course dates, if staying outside those dates the Farm Stay price applies.

Safety hat hire $2.50
Showers use $2.00 coins
Jodhpur boot hire $5.00
Hay (for own horse or pony ) $10.00 bale
Airport transfers and check in for a child under 12 years (unaccompanied minor) add $125.00

Courses are only available during weekends and School Holidays
Price includes: shared dorm accommodation, (you need a sleeping bag, pillow etc) all meals, all horse riding *, instruction and trekking.
Some help with meal preparation or team jobs is required in return for this price, courses run like a school camp where everyone is expected to help. Riders need to clean their own room before departure.

Note: courses do not include an evening meal on the night of arrival.

* Horse riding is only available subject to fine weather and safe operating conditions - We reserve the right to cancel any horse riding on days where circumstances beyond our control would affect the safety of horses and riders, there is no reduction in cost should this take place. All prices are subject to change without notice.

SAFETY TERMS AND CUSTOMER DECLARATION We place extreme importance on the safety of both horses and riders, however it is important to understand that neither the Kowhai Residential School of Riding Limited, its directors, staff nor any land owner that has generously given the use of their farm can be held responsible for any personal injury, death, or any other loss. We agree that in the unlikely event of illness or injury requiring a doctor or hospitalisation the Kowhai Residential School of Riding Limited will act on our behalf and make the necessary arrangements if unable to contact us. If in the opinion of Kowhai’s staff a person, their health or conduct at any time appears likely to endanger the safety or happiness of other clients they may be asked to leave Kowhai immediately without refund. The client acknowledges and accepts that although Kowhai does hold various insurances this booking condition states that the client must assume he/she is not covered by any insurance policy that Kowhai may hold, including all liability insurance for death, injury, damage or any other loss. No portion of the course fee is refundable if an individual is unable to stay the duration of their booking for any reason. The disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in these terms and conditions do not effect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 We strongly recommend that all visitors to New Zealand have full insurance covering any injury they might suffer, including medical treatment cover. EXCLUSIONS: To the extent permitted by law, all our liability for damage to your property, disruption to travel plans, or mental injury is excluded, and this includes electronic items such as phones, camera's and computers, any such items are brought entirely at your own risk. Please list on this form any medical conditions or other information we need to know to ensure your / your child’s safety in this activity.
